Our Story
Our Vision
Our Mission
Hello, We are Dave and Leanne, the founders of Anchor & Bean Coffee Co. As Northern Michigander coffee lovers, we were both tired of year-old store bought coffee. So, we decided to start our own coffee company. The twist was, we also wanted to support missions and non-for-profit organizations too..... "voila" Anchor & Bean Coffee Company was born.......
WHY IS FERMENTED COFFEE BETTER TASTING, AND BETTER FOR YOU?
Fermented coffee refers to coffee that has undergone an additional, deliberate fermentation process after the initial harvest and processing stages, either as green beans or as a brewed beverage. This process, which uses yeasts and bacteria to break down compounds in the coffee, can result in a less bitter, less acidic, and more flavorful coffee with potential health benefits like improved gut health and sustained energy.
